Adam's Story

Once upon a time, not long ago. When people wore pajamas and lived life...

Wait. Wrong Story. Let me start again.

Once upon a time, we celebrated the nuptials of our dear friend Mr. Viss. It was an absolutely beautiful day.

"Sup?"

This story is not about his wedding, however. This story is about something that transpired after the Mr. and wife had retired for the evening. You see, this particular wedding had an after-party at a hotel room, as many weddings do. And, as is the case of many wedding hotel after-parties, this particular wedding hotel after-party began to morph into a wedding hotel after-party dance-party.

Whew, I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

As it happens, our beloved Adam likes to dance.

I mean, he really likes to dance.

No, I mean he really really likes to dance.

On this fateful evening, however, it was not just dancing that would take place. Oh no. You see, our beloved Adam is an engineer and engineers often like to get creative with materials left about. It's something in the very nature of how they tick. I don't get it either.

Enter...

The Luggage Cart

Now most folks would look at a luggage cart and think, "Hey, that looks like a pretty swell place to put some luggage and maybe hang some shirts and a suit." Not Adam, though. And certainly not his accomplices T and S. No, on this fateful day, Adam (and T and S) gazed upon a luggage cart and thought, "Hey, that looks like a really swell place to boogie!"

And boogie they did.

Adam thoroughly inspects the apparatus. Engineer, remember?

"Is this thing safe?"

"It feels like it might be able to hold us."

"Let's get this party started!"

"Look mom, I'm a gymnast!"

Adam proceeds to power through the only meaningful pull-up ever done, by anybody, ever.

"Hrrrnnnggghhhhh!"

"Garrrghhhhhh!"

"Nice view from up here. Now what?"

DANCE. THAT'S WHAT.

"Whoooooo!"

Some Staying Alive even broke out.

Even the infamous Jay Laiklad got in on this action.

Laughing. And panting. And laughing.

"That was sweet!"

And that is how I have to end my story.

CRUMBS!
