I don't buy music every day (weekly at best) so I just do an rsync (your Mac should have that on the command line) to syncronize them every few weeks. The benefits of this are: * Cheap, relative to other solutions * Fail safe. Basically same protection as RAID. * (My favorite) The second drive can be taken with you.
